Hello!

I haven't written in quite a bit. I've been busy, you see.

Caught some virus that left me bedridden for a week. Totally not fun, not to mention, it's hell trying to catch up with work.

Those guys I like? don't like them anymore. One's just a friend, the other one's a jerk. I swear I'm never going to date a jerk again. ever.

So I'm almost done Sticks, Stones, and Ice Cream Cones. There's only two chapters left. One's a big shocker, the other one will be a ender and a transition into the sequel.

I've posted up To Unmask the Sunrise on potionsandsnitches.net. It's a bit different from my fanfiction.net, but only because I found a bunch of errors and things. Anyways, I've got 3 chapters up, but there's a lot more coming. I have a whole bunch of ideas for this one. Well, for one, it's going to be a trilogy, or a series. Not sure which so far, but I'm aiming to end with Harry in his early twenties. That's at least seven years to write, folks. Can't wait, can you?

Unfortunately for you, I won't be able to update because my week consists of:

Monday - History Test part 1, Geography ISP due, Biology Test, History Thesis Statement Due

Tuesday - History Test part 2, mock UN Assembly

Wednesday and Thursday - prep for Group 4

Friday - Group 4 Project is due

Definitely not a good week. Oh, well. I can guarantee that SSICC will be over before the New Year, and TUTS will have at least 1 chapter up before the New Year. Maybe I'll even write a Christmas one-shot for SSICC. I'll have to see. =)

news update.

I've also started a new fanfic, called To Unmask the Sunrise. Harry is older in this one, and Snape is his old snarky self. I changed Severus a bit last time (because he's a lot younger, and a little less bitter, what with a youngster), and I feel I want the challenge of writing a mean, volatile Snape.

But that won't be coming any time soon...until I've finished this darned paper. I've got two sections and a bit left (which I have to write in 2000 words). You can probably expect updates either the end of this week or next week. Maybe I'll put up my paper just for fun (:

EXTENDED ESSAY FRANTIC.

I am so screwed. It's not even funny. My mentor wants my 4000 word paper by Tuesday...and I have a whole bunch of assignments due.

Geography: CIDA advertisement (I've decided to do a powerpoint instead of a video.)

History: THIRTY primary sources due, plus my preliminary work Tuesday. Oh. and TEST.

English: We have to do an essay in Orwellian style, which means...I have to a) find a topic, and

b) write it.

Biology: thank God I have nothing so far. But I have to finish a lab in the upcoming week, and

there's a test the week after.

and I have a retreat with my church next week, so God knows where I'm going to find the time. =(

on a lighter note, I think I've got crushes on TWO guys. who does that? apparently me. hah! but I know I have to focus on school, so gotta forget them...for now! can't wait for uni!

NOVEMBER IS HERE!

Hello!

long time no write =)

I've had a hectic few weeks (there was one week where I had all summatives...eurgh.)...and I totally just dislodged my kneecap. Have I told you how much I hate school?

Hmmm...on a side note, I just entered my short story into the CBC contest (hope I win...but probably won't) and I'm totally like, psyched to start writing my kiddie historical fiction novel. It's going to be based on the Winnipeg General Strike (though God knows what I could write about that), and I'm hoping that it'll give people a glimpse into what Canada was like back in the day. I think we sometimes have the perception that Canadians are all pseudo-Americans, and we're not. Really.

My 4000 word essay is due (SCREW YOU IB) next Friday and I've barely got 1000 words done. I feel bad for procrastinating...but whatever. Just means more for you guys to read. Oh, right. Geography test tomorrow...hah! Guess who's not going to study until nine tonight!

University applications are coming up. I have a feeling once they get started I'll be a nervous wreck, though I'm sure I'll get into my top choice. This is, after all, my first year since I've entered high school that I've gotten straight 90s, well except biology. But who needs biology anyways? yuck.

So, I'm going back to writing! Hopefully, I'll remember to update (:

Thinking...

Honestly, writing fanfiction has been a source of relaxation. And it's really encouraging to see how people actually like reading my stuff...All right, I suppose I shall have to tell you why I started writing fanfic.

At school, I'm known as a writer. A creative genius, you could say (I swear my ego isn't overbloated). But the thing is, people keep telling me this ALL the time. So I was wondering if it was actually true: Do I have talent in this area?

You guys have apparently answered my questions. I love the fact that I'm able to keep you guys in suspense, and I love the way you guys respond right away. It's honestly been amazing.

As a stress reliever, you have no idea how important that is to me. It's not school (though God knows I'd rather it be school). No, it's something far worse...for me, anyways. I have these two guys who really really like me. They both go to my church, and one of them goes to my school. Thing is...I don't like them. AT ALL. Their favourite pastime is following me. Really. I've told them to lay off, but see...they don't really understand the concept that I don't like them and that I rather hate being followed. I've been nice, rude, egotistical...you name it, I've done it. And they totally don't get it. Low EQ, I suppose. Okay, so I have claustrophobia, and I hate it when people crowd me, which is exactly what they're doing. so a couple weeks ago, I had several full-blown asthma attacks. Which leads to why I got the flu. Don't worry, it's not H1N1. I've already had that. (:

Anyways, that's my rant for today. Sometimes, I wish that someone would intervene and knock their heads together so they'll see sense. I suppose there's no use for wishful thinking, is there?
